WATER TREATMENT DESIGN
The quality of the raw water source into a water treatment facility largely dictates the most suitable treatment process follow. From surface water to bore water, it can contain humic acids or highly turbid water from inland and sparsely vegetated areas. Algal growth and development of taste and odour can also be issues. These problems are exacerbated where impoundments is required to ensure a reliable water supply.
SERVICES
WWTSA/MZANSI WATER CO. has designed water treatment plants ranging in capacity from small scale units, such as for farms and boutique wineries, to treatment works in excess of 200ML/d. This includes the project management of the different disciplines involved on the project. These water treatment works have to meet the requirements of clients, which range from highly skilled operators to rural settlements with a basic level of operation and maintenance.
